Yoga is for everyone. We come to the practice not because we are flexible and in perfect shape, but because we love life, and our future - and we are willing to invest in the quality of our life. Seemingly long ago and far away in childhood, if we were so blessed, we lived in ease and freedom. We come to yoga to practice ease and letting go of all the things and thoughts that no longer serve our health or well-being.
Among the many reasons to do yoga are stress relief and relaxation and the myriad of its resulting health benefits including; disease prevention, spinal health, digestive health, increased circulation, respiratory health, flexibility, strength and great vitality. In short, doing yoga feels terrific because it is recalibrating the body mind systems to natural healing!
Yoga means union, to unite with ~ to experience the mind as a gentle, trusting, positive presence in the body so completely that one can awaken to and experience the peaceful wisdom and light within that is always there guide us. The One we are praying to is also within.
Simple. There are only so many hours in a day. Yoga heals body, mind and soul at once. THE FULL BODY ELIXIR, a therapeutic yoga program complete unto itself, has been Calley’s anchor and sail in her long and continuing journey of healing and discovery. This unique combination of yoga and qigong has been the key to Calley's profound shift from an A type striver in pain to a peaceful seeker on a joyous path of evolution.
For Calley, THE FULL BODY ELIXIR continues to be the primary component of successfully reversing joint pain, debilitating, chronic spinal degeneration, and serious lifelong sinus-respiratory and digestive challenges. This fun, compassionate yoga has dissolved her old "beat the clock" stressful striving and rejuvenated her life energy. The key is practice.
You can read her story and learn the key principles of her personal transformation in the 40-page booklet that comes with the two-part Full Body Elixir DVD.
“Don't think you can attain total awareness and whole enlightenment
without proper discipline and practice.
This is egomania.
Appropriate rituals channel your emotions and life energy toward the Light.
Withouit discipline to practice them, you will tumble constantly backward into darkness.”
- Lao Tsu
A life-long inspiration to Calley has been yoga master Tao Porchon-Lynch. Enjoy these two videos showing her joyful views and philosophy.
